The Santa killer by Ross Greenwood

Here's a Christmas thriller for those who like Christmas with a difference. It can be Purchased here on Amazon, Waterstones and Barnes and noble.
Synopsis
The Santa Killer is coming to town… One night less than two weeks before Christmas, a single mother is violently assaulted. It’s a brutal crime at the time of year when there should be goodwill to all. When DI Barton begins his investigation, he’s surprised to find the victim is a woman with nothing to hide and no reason for anyone to hurt her. A few days later, the mother of the woman attacked rings the police station. Her granddaughter has drawn a shocking picture. It seems she was looking out of the window when her mother was attacked. And when her grandmother asks the young girl who the person with the weapon is, she whispers two words. Bad Santa. The rumours start spreading, and none of the city’s women feel safe - which one of them will be next? He’s got a list. It’s quite precise. It won’t matter even if you’re nice.
My synopsis
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
When a woman is brutally attacked just before Christmas it's shocking! A few days later the victim's daughter draws a picture of the scene she had witnessed, when she is asked who's holding the weapon she whispers "Bad Santa!"
The Santa killer is the 6th and final book in the detective inspector Barton series. I haven't read any of the previous books yet, but I don't think it took away or revealed anything about the previous books. But I will be going back and reading them anyway. I really liked Barton as a character as well as his crew. The book is told in many points of view: the victims, inspector Barton and the killer! But wasn't confusing in the slightest. I found it quite fast paced and gripping and just as you think you have it all solved... WHAM! A twist. It definitely kept me guessing. All the loose ends are neatly tied up in a rather emotional ending, I enjoyed this book and would recommend it. Thank you @netgalley and @bookandtonic books for the arc copy in exchange for my honest opinions
